AMX Australia has announced it will be expanding the range of products and services within the Corporate, Education and Government installation sectors to include “complimentary Harman Professional Solutions brands such as Harman’s BSS, Crown and JBL Professional,” – products formerly only imported/distributed by Jands.
It’s AV Asia Pacific‘s understanding that the move is in line with Harman’s (AMX’s parent company) worldwide push to have its distributors play to their strengths in each of its ‘verticals’. With this in mind, Jands will be given the authority to sell AMX and SVSi by AMX product into its install market heartland (performing arts centres, stadiums, houses of worship, large hospitality venues, transport terminals etc).

With HARMAN’s acquisition of the AMX and SVSi brands Jands are delighted to announce that, effective 1st October 2015, Jands Pty Ltd has never been in a stronger position to provide complete solutions to our partners across hospitality, retail, large venues, touring, and recording & broadcast. Jands has considerable past experience in video and control systems and with this announcement, Jands will now exclusively rely on AMX and SVSi for these solutions, as we expand the range of products and services we can offer.
